I Want One

Blue is My Favorite Color.

In nature, blue is a color that is generally composed by the structure and physical properties of an object itself affecting the way light interacts with the object. Blue sky and blue water are good examples. While other colors are reflections of pigment.

Blue is my favorite color. I know I am not alone. There are many shades, hues, and tones of blue, and I like them all. Blue is the most popular color in the world across cultural, political, and economic boundaries.

It is no wonder, then, that blue is also the most asked for color in a casket gallery. I get to talk to many funeral directors in this line of work--building caskets.  I've heard time, and time again, about individuals and families who ask for blue caskets.

Blue is a calming color associated with trust and loyalty. In psychology, blue exhibits inner security and confidence. We think blue is a suitable color for a casket like this one. This particular shade of blue we call Just Blue for it is that universal blue, a blue of as many meanings and associations as there are people in the room.

Plant it Forward.

Pledge to use this casket in your end-of-life plan and we'll plant 100 trees this year.  And 100 more next year. And another 100 trees every year thereafter. Your pledge costs nothing and takes 5 minutes.  Pledge today.
