Oak. The Sacred Wood.

It is a fact that many cultures and religions around the world regard the wood of an Oak tree as sacred.

Imagine a lonely oak tree standing proudly for many generations. Close your eyes and notice the tree you see. Each of us holds the memory of an oak tree tightly woven into the fabric of our lives.

Security. Beauty. Simplicity.

The oak from which this urn has been handcrafted once stood tall. Proud. Was felled by enterprising men sometime prior to 1880. Sawn by the power of engines billowing with steam and the smoke of wood. Carefully graded. Sold to other enterprising men to construct a barn. Occupied by five generations of yet more enterprising men. Salvaged from the beams after standing idle for more than two decades, this oak has been given purpose once again by an enterprising young man whose hands planed, crafted, and sanded the oak into this urn.

May the wood of this oak have absorbed the breath of many enterprising men and tell their stories for centuries more.
