This is the place where memories live.

Every once in a while I meet a craftsman with a truly great story. The hands that made these urns have nearly 80 years of history to share. The pewter accents cannot be bought from a catalog, nor were they cast in a foundry somewhere in Spain or China. The accents on these urns are hand-cast from pewter in a home workshop in a small rural Wisconsin town nestled along the railroad line between Milwaukee and Chicago.

The cherry wood is carefully selected and crafted into the keepsake box you see here through a series of activities that only the talented hands of one dedicated to his/her craft could pursue.

Measuring. Cutting. Joining. Sanding. Finishing. These are skills honed by a lifetime of experience.

The story from which these urns and keepsake boxes originate is equally as interesting as the result. May this keepsake box become a family heirloom entrusted to many future generations of your family.
