During the early 20th Century, quarter sawn oak became one of the hallmarks of the Arts & Crafts style. With most furniture being plain sawn today, quarter sawn oak has become an important key to accurately recreating the true look of Arts & Crafts furniture.

Here we have a handsome casket, true to Arts & Crafts style, carefully constructed with quarter sawn white oak adorned with walnut dowel joinery and decorative accents. The hardware is American steel stamped in a small shop in Chicago, Illinois and powder coated in hand-forged black in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
